PLEASE LIKE ME

Please Like Me is a half hour comedy series for ABC TV & the American cable network Pivot. Created by comedian Josh Thomas, it follows the life of a not quite normal, constantly bored 20 year old with A.D.D. trying to hold together an entirely dysfunctional family and explore his first taste of independence.

The aim was to create a world that reflected Josh’s very particular aesthetic & sensibility while providing a visually unique backdrop for director Matt Saville to showcase the series. We set Josh’s main location, a share house, in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and while based in the real world, gave his home touch of heightened reality through colour and selected dressings.
