LAKE MUNGO
Lake Mungo, written and directed by Joel Anderson, produced by Georgie Nevile and David Rapsey, is the story of the accidental drowning of 16 year old Alice Palmer and the chilling paranormal activity that followed her death. It is a disquieting study in grief and a disturbing tale of the uncanny.
Shot in documentary style, we created a complete life & history for the Palmer family, shooting ‘archival’ footage on all formats from polaroid to 35mm film. A muted colour palette with emphasis on depth & perspective helped achieve a domestic banality to set off the supernatural elements.
