JONAH FROM TONGAH 

Jonah From Tonga follows the character created by comedian Chris Lilley, a rebellious 14-year-old Australian boy of Tongan descent. It charts his journey from Tonga, to school, to juvenile detention and back again, including life with his family, friends and teachers.

In creating the world of Jonah, it was imperative to make it believable and authentic. The local Melbourne Tongan community was a wonderful resource in helping to achieve this, sharing their cultural and community knowledge with much generosity.
